Back to the Drawing Board...sort of.
After a few days of working at his new job, Daryl has learned that the job he took was not what was he was expecting. He was told he would be going analysis-type of work, and working closely with the accounting department, which is where he really wants to be. When he started his training he realized that this was not the case. In fact, all they were asking him to do were tasks involving data entry. We are searching for something more challenging that would help him learn and grow, much like his other job. Something he can be excited to go to work on. So after much discussion, he has agreed to work there for the rest of this week, and then he will be looking into other avenues. We have some prospects in the works. He will be doing some side work, working closely with his old bosses, doing some accounting for their personal business accounts. He has a meeting later this week, with a friend of theirs who could also use a good bookkeeper/accountant. We'll have to see how things work out in these areas. Again, I will try to keep you updated. Thanks for all of the support you have offered thus far.

Daryl's Job
I'm sure that some of you have heard, that Daryl was let go at his lob. The larger company that bought out his company decided that they no longer needed their accounting department, and wanted to do all of the accounting themselves. Mid January, he and a few others were given a month's notice to find another job before they were laid off. They also offered him a little severance pay, while he looked elsewhere. His last day of work was Tues, the 15th of February.
Normally I would probably be a nervous wreck, being 5 months pregnant with our third, and no stable income in sight. I have had a few family members ask me how I'm handling this. I can honestly say that this is where we are supposed to be at this point. Every major decision that has gotten us here, including taking this job initially, and bringing another baby into our family, among other things, has most definitely happened at the right time. (Not MY right time, but the Lord's. ) And since this is the case, all I can/should do is watch and pray and wait for the next step in the plan, and hope that it's an easier road.
To update on the job search, you would be glad to hear that Daryl went on three interviews his first day off. One of which resulted in a job offer already, but we'll have to decline considering it's a temporary position that will likely not make ends meet. We are very optimistic, however to see how things turn out on Monday. He is scheduled to to do a "working interview" for a new analysis position in a different company. Basically, I'm told that he will show up for the day as if he works there, and do his best to accomplish whatever they ask him to do. And if he does his job well, they'll decide to keep him. Sounds pretty good right? No I will admit that I am a BIT biased when I say that my husband, and his amazing wealth of knowledge, can accomplish pretty much ANYTHING you throw at him. I assure you, (as if you even need assurance), that this is no exaggeration. I have complete confidence that he will blow them away with amazing work ethic and mad skills. And if not, well, we'll keep looking. I'll keep you posted. 'Til then please keep us in your prayers.

23 Weeks
So yesterday was my 23 week Dr. appointment. Nothing super interesting to report. I ended up bring in my kids with me again. I had planned on a babysitter, but she had to cancel last minute. It worked out alright, since I'm not far enough along to worry about anything inappropriate being seen. Plus Daniel really likes going and hearing the heart beat. This was the first week I was measured. He thought that was funny. Dr. Beck says I'm measuring exactly right, and the baby's heart beat is good. Isaac kicked the doppler monitor while we were listening. After that he felt my stomach to see how everything was and such. While we were getting ready to leave, Heidi asked if the Dr. squished the baby. She was a little concerned, and wanted to be sure the that the baby was not hurt during the check-up. I assured her that he was just fine.
(Sorry I'll post pictures as soon as I can find the battery charger for our camera.)

A Name
So we have officially decided on a name for new baby boy. His name is...
Isaac Wayne Lamoreaux
Isaac, because I really feel like that's what his name is SUPPOSED to be, and Wayne after my dad. Wayne is also my brother's middle name. What do you think? (Although if you hate it, it's still gonna be his name.)
